The LMU Green Office is the central contact and coordination point for sustainability and climate protection, located at the Biomedical Center (BMC) at the LMU HighTechCampus in Martinsried/Grosshadern. It is a joint initiative of the LMU unit Occupational Safety and Sustainability, the Faculty of Biology and the BMC. Its goal is to improve sustainability on campus and promote collaboration. To achieve this goal, we gather and communicate information needed for practical implementation as well as initiate and support sustainable projects. This includes also the BMC Green Lab Initiative, which enforces actions and policies to reduce our environmental footprint in the lab, and to make our research more sustainable.
